Friendship can lead to better mental health, positivity, and happiness.
Summer break has begun, and students are finally able to relax after a stressful year. However, this summer I challenge you all to leave your house and hang out with friends as often as possible. I know as soon as we hear the last bell of the year many of us go home and remain there a large part of the summer. This is unhealthy and destructive to your mental health; it is important to engage in social interaction with other people. In fact, friendship has its own psychological benefits such as improving your sense of belonging and purpose, self-confidence, happiness, and feelings of security. Congrats to all of the graduates and have a great summer!
